As the sun rises in the east the soft clouds, like the cotton candy of endless childhood summers, illuminate with a thousand different pinks, purples and blues. With the smell of fresh brewing coffee you pull your robe tight and step out of the glass doors on to the observation deck and feel the southerly breeze and the warmth of the sun on your face.
Ahead of you you have a calm day of bird watching–literally on your doorstep. Or maybe you'll feel more active and decide to take the snorkel gear into the coral reef just a couple of easy miles offshore.
You could even go kayaking in the Atlantic or search for the catch of the day, for dinner, right from your back yard. Today is about choice, doing exactly as you please.
And once the day is done you can come back to the comfort of your home and relax to your favorite music–or even a movie– in the hot tub. Eventually, when dusk turns to night, you can make S'mores in the fire pit and watch the reassuring blink of the lighthouse in the distance. Graham crackers, sticky marshmallows, chocolate and shooting stars. A perfect end to a perfect day.
